William R. Elliott

Mr. Elliott has been involved in the commercial real estate industry since 1983. Prior to that he was a civil engineer from 1977 to 1983. As a managing member of Medalist Properties, Mr. Elliott is involved in sourcing, executing and the management of investment properties. He was formerly Managing Partner of Prudential Commercial Real Estate, former President of Virginia Realty and Development Company and former President of the Central Virginia Region of Goodman, Segar, Hogan, Hoffler. As a commercial real estate professional, he has demonstrated proficiency in transactions including major office buildings, shopping centers, industrial land and facility sales and large mixed-use development land sales.

Thomas E. Messier

Mr. Messier has been employed in the fixed income securities industry for over twenty years. He has been a managing member of Medalist Properties since December 2003 and serves as Co-President of Medalist Fund Manager, Inc. and President of Medalist Securities, Inc. In that capacity, Messier provides real estate investment banking for Medalist acquisitions and investor relations. Before forming Medalist Properties, he was Managing Partner of Westmoreland Capital Management, and served as a Director of Global Capital Markets at First Union Securities for ten years prior to that. Mr. Messier also was a Senior Vice President of Capital Markets at Bank of America and has spent his career marketing structured fixed income investments to financial institutional investors. His most recent experience in structured fixed income products included Commercial Real Estate Mortgage Backed Securities and Collateralized Debt Obligations. His former positions with Westmoreland Capital and First Union involved the development of European Institutional investors for these structures.
